Zilla Vs. King Kong

Zilla, a mutated marine iguana kaiju vs. King Kong, a giant ape, and the last member of his species

Zilla is a giant mutated marine iguana originating from a nuclear test in French Polynesia. As the test was done in 1968, the creature grew over a period of approximately thirty years. His irradiated genes caused him to achieve a height of about sixty meters.

Powers and Abilities:


Strengths:

Durability: Durability-wise, small arms fire is useless on him as well as standard tank rounds. However, the F-18 Hornet's missile compliment proved strong enough to kill him, however it required at least twelve missiles to kill him.

Physical abilities: While not as physically powerful as Godzilla, Zilla has shown a high amount of physical strength. He is able to sink three fishing boats by pulling them underwater despite them moving at full speed. He also dredged a large freighter onto shore with ease. Zilla also has displayed a high amount of speed and agility, able outrun multiple squadrons of AH-64 Apaches. Additionally, he displayed the ability to match the speed of a Taxi, as well as run through New York without hitting any buildings. Finally, despite being point blank, he could dodge and avoid missiles launched at him with ease. He also has shown a remarkable burrowing ability, able to excavate the thick tar and concrete around New York with ease. Using this advantage, he was able to escape and hide from the United States Army.

Special Abilities: Zilla lacks Godzilla's iconic atomic breath, though he possesses a impressive hurricane breath which he can also ignite to form a wall or blast of flames.

Intelligence: Zilla was originally a very animalistic, illusive and evasive, yet clever creature in his first film appearance, and he kept most, or at the very least, some, of these traits later on. He mostly ate fish, making him a piscivore, which he would also give his offspring. When being attacked, he would try to confuse his offenders and then attack them back, and he even faked his own death when the two Ohio Class Nuclear-Powered Submarines shot two torpedoes at him. After his offspring were killed when the Madison Square Garden was bombed by the military, he showed a great amount of anger towards the main characters, who he may or may not have known were somewhat behind their deaths.

King Kong is a giant ape, the last member of his species (Megaprimatus Kong). They are not native to Skull Island, but it is presumed that the species Gigantopithecus (from the greek word Γίγαντας Gigantas meaning Giant and the word Πίθηκος Pithecus meaning monkey), a prehistoric gorilla that was bigger than modern apes, came to the island via an ancient land bridge linked to Asia. This of course happened many thousands of years ago.

Predators: Megaprimatus had many foes. Vastatosaurus rex was a mortal enemy, as were Venatosaurs, Foetodon and Terapusmordax. These were a constant threat to the young. Full-grown male Megaprimatus were equal matches for any V-rex, though the largest V-rexes would have been determined to kill the young. While the V-rex had the advantage of massive-bone crushing jaws and armored skin, Megaprimatus had the advantage of their intelligence, massive strength and grasping hands. They could use primitive tools such as logs and boulders against threats, and could grapple, render and bite, and if given the option and the understanding, even break necks and skulls. The young of both species were in constant danger from the adults, as the killing of a young Megaprimatus or young V-rex would eliminate future threats. Neither would allow the other on their territory under any circumstances, and fights were usually brief since they used intimidation. If the stakes got high enough, it would be a bloodbath. The smaller predators, Venatosaurus and Foetodon, were not as large but were just as dangerous, even though Venatosaurs packs and groups of Foetodon were much easier to fend off and kill. Like other gorillas, Megaprimatus also had to fight off other Megaprimatus, especially the males.flect a volley of crossbow bolts and is agile enough to perform a jumping frontflip over the Afro Droid in their first Fight.
